Apple iPad 3 prototype platform with 3D display

I believe that iPad 3, when it comes out, likely 2012, will have the same display as the current iPhone 4. Seems to be the way Apple goes with gadgets.
Samsung's Galaxy phone here in Japan, sports a 3D screen and it is AWESOME! I wouldn't be surprised if Apple go somewhere along the same lines for their next set of displays, perhaps taking a leaf out of the Nintendo 3DS book.
And just for the record and off topic: Facetime was first invented by DoCoMo, not Apple! FOMA D902i phone, 2005 :P
